The Lake Wylie Rotary Club is an organization of business and professional persons united with other clubs worldwide to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in both our community and our world.

We have weekly luncheons at The River Rat Restaurant in Lake Wylie which serve to enrich and educate our members with dynamic speakers on topics of local, national and international interest to our members.

A key funtion of the Rotary Club of Lake Wylie is to support the local and international community through philanthropy and volunteer projects.

Each week, we feature a distinguished speaker that provides us with informative and entertaining information about topics of interest to our members.

Service
There are many opportunities to support the Lake Wylie and international communities through philanthropy and volunteer projects. Service programs include, but are not limited to, concerns such as healthcare, hunger, poverty, illiteracy, education and the environment. Rotarians regularly experience the fulfillment that comes from giving back to the local, regional, and international community.

Friendship
Rotary was founded on fellowship, a cornerstone that continues to attract members today. Rotarians enjoy comaraderie among business and professional leaders who share an interest in the Lake Wylie community and a global outlook. Networking
One of the original goals of Rotary was to allow members to meet periodically and enlarge their circle of business and professional acquaintances. Rotarians represent a cross-section of their community's business owners, executvies, managers, political leaders and professionals. In addition to the weekly luncheon, the Rotary Club of Lake Wylie also host a monthly social event as well as several seasonal events.

Family
